I have H1B petition approved from my employer. I have reference number only. Can it be transferred to another employer without an approved petition copy?
Details:
My employer applied for my H1B in 2013, and got approved petition till Sep 2016. Its not stamped yet. We can't see any on-site opportunity in near future. My husband is already on US assignment. If I'll join him on H4 and try getting a job there:
- Will my new employer will be able to transfer my approved petition using reference number?
-If my current employer will cancel it, is there any way to get it renew again by new employer?
