Can I renew expired h1b with same employer or different employer?

My H1b visa and i-94 is going to be expired on 31st Dec.

Can you let me know after expiration of H1b and i-94 still it can be renewed

You should apply to extend your H-1B status, or do a change of employers, before your I-94 expires
