Approval of L1b to h1b COS

I have a L1b through an employer which is valid until 2015 and i-94. Another company filed my h1b COS and got my RFE in September.
What if my H1b COS got approved in October, then, do I need to shift from my L1b company to h1b ?

If your change of status is approved, then start working on h1b job immediately.
