What additional documents I would need as I am going for visa stamping 8 months after my job start date on offer letter

I got H1b approved in June 2013, but am going for stamping in April 2014. I have been working outside USA and my employer postponed my joining date.
What documents should I carry in case counselor asks the reason for delay.
