If I am on h1b visa, can my mother stay with me as my dependent?

Question

I am in USa on my h1b visa and want to get my mother here as my dependent, can I do that?
My wife and kid are also here as my dependent on h4 visa.
I know she can avail visitor visa for 6 months, but what if i want her to stay longer than that?
Is there any other option?

Once you become a US Citizen then you can get her here with you permanently, else you can't sponsor her any kind of visa except visitor visa.
