I am in USA on B1 now, got a spot for H1B. Can I stay on to do H1B visa interview here?

I applied for H1B while I am on B1/2 (entered USA 40 days before submitting H1B application). I got a spot for this year's quota, pending processing. Can I stay on in USA and do the Visa interview here to get my H1B?
