H1b company out of business, will management be responsible if wages are unpaid?

My H1b sponsoring company has already shutdown. the company owes me 4 months salary.

I filed a Wage and Hour complaint.
Is the management still responsible for my unpaid wages? If it is, please let me know the section of the law which states this.
I need to update the Department of Labor that the principals of the management are obligated to pay my wages.

Take it to civil court and sue for unpaid wages. I doubt DOL becomes involved in this.
