Getting married to GC holder and h1b stamping

Question

I am on h1b and planning to marry next week to a girl who has GC.
1. if i marry next week and do all necessary documentation for my GC right away, is it going to create issue with my stamping process during India trip
2. Is there any risk doing this, or can I wait when she will be back again?
 I don't want to take any risk with the status, please guide me.

1. It will be a consideration for sure but H1B is a dual intent visa so it should be OK.
