Does h1b application/approval need pay stub with new company?

Question

My company who sponsored my h1b is closed now. I found a new employer for h1b transfer. there was a gap in my employment, do I might have to go to counsulate processing.

Do i need to show current pay stub with new employer?

or can I just leave the country before it gets approved?

or should i wait till i get approval notice

If you crossed the limits of 180 days of unlawful presence, you will trigger a three year bar when you exit the US for consular processing.
