My company planned to close their office and have a virtual presence. How does this affect my h1b status?

I am on an H1B visa and My Company is planning to close the current office as most employees work remotely.

I will continue to have daily status meetings with the CEO/manager and he will supervise me on a daily basis over the phone/internet/emails.

1. Is an office required to maintain my H1B status? Can I work remotely from home?
2. Company is OK with leasing a small office for me if required. Can it be a shared office or a cubicle in an office?
3. Should the new office be in the same city as the old office? OR same zip code? OR same county? What needs to be filed/reported to USCIS or DOL for the new office?

That could become a problem as USCIS can and does send investigators to check the job site.
