When I still had my STEM OPT, my company filed H1b for me, however that was denied due to the cap gap.
Now the company is planning to file MTR. I also got to know that my school is willing to give me CPT.
So, can I legally work with this company during H1b denial date to CPT start date?

This is a very specifc case and you may have to consider an immigration lawyer to know more about this.

Also talk to your company attorney, they might help you.
