Hello, I got a new H1B approved since OCT 2013. But my consulting company is unable to find a  project for me (So I dont have salary slips from my H1B sponsor). Now, I intend to switch to a new employer, So the question is - Can my H1B visa be transferred to the new Employer without have any salary slips form previous employer ?

on some website I saw that if the H1B has never been used, then there can be an exception that salary slips are not needed. I am hoping for the same.
PS: USCIS needs to stop such companies which sponsor H1B visa's (with false requirements like in-house projects, indicating false salaries on the petition papers, etc..) But in reality they will not have any jobs and their only hope will be to sub-contract with some other vendors. Moreover, they harass by asking us to pay them money to run payrolls, etc..

Somehow USCIS must get hold of such companies and stop these activity and oinly allow genuine companies to sponsor H1bs. It saves a lot of embarrassment

New H1b have 90 days grace periods . so if i dont get till end of this month . my visa will be cancelled or revoked . did your consultant said you anything about it ?

There is no provision for any grace periods. But usually its an unwritten rule that a grace period of 60 days is allowed to actually change company/H1B status. My consultant wants me to come on their payrolls if I dont get a job within this period. The catch is my company wants me to PAY them and go on their payroll -- which is illegal. I am thinking to sue them for this (first they sponsor my H1B visa saying they will find me job, now they are unable to put me in a project, and moreover to get around USCIS they want to make me pay them money to run payrolls)

What are your thoughts on this? Such companies must be sued. so that people like us dont land in such situations.
