I currently work for a non-profit organization which qualifies for H1B Cap-Exempt Applications.
I am currently on OPT STEM extension which expires in November 2014.
My employer has agreed to sponsor my H1B, however, it is the end of June and they have not yet initiated the process. I just have 5 more months of OPT left.
Will it be too late if they start the H1 process sometime in July ?
Should I be worried ?
