What will be the impact on GC if I have already applied for H1B previosuly through a different employer?

I am currently working with an employer and hold a L-1A valid till 2014. My current employer has applied for my green card. My previous employer had applied for H1B in 2013, which got selected in the lottery but I did not recieve any receipt for it yet. I dont want to switch to my another employer as my current employer is applying for GC for me. I dont want my H1B application to have any impact on my green card application. Please help.

Ask your employer to withdraw H1B petition at the earliest and it should not have any impact on your Green card application.
