I am on OPT extension through June 2014. Can i apply for H1B through a non e-verified company in April' 2014?

Yes. You can apply in April 2014 for H-1B. You will be on CAP-GAP status till OCT 1st i.e when your H1B start date kicks in.

I was concerned about applying from a non-everified company. But not about the cap gap. As the opt extension needs me to be in an e-verified  company.

At this time, It is not necessary for an H-1B employer to be e-verified. But for OPT extension , the employer has to be evrified
