My OPT EXT expires on Feb 28 2014. After which I have 2 months grace period during which I can apply for H1B and get a cap gap. The company I am currently working for is willing to sponsor my H1 in 2014 (Apr 1 2014).
But in this cap gap I can stay in US but cannot work until the start of my H1B. One way that we have agreed upon to work this out is that I go back to India office till my H1 starts (Oct 1 2014) and come back to US. I am trying to see is there any other way out for this condition where I can stay here in US and work.
