I had a H1B filed by an employer in 2008 for me to start working in Oct 2008, however I didn't come to the US on that H1B until March 2010. An year later I changed companies and received an extension until April 2014. So is my H1B valid only until Sep 2014 since the original start date was Oct 2008, or will I get an extension until march 2016.

Will the 6 year limit count from the day you enter US or the day you get the visa stamped?
