I started my graduate studies and graduated in May 2013.
I missed the final date for applying OPT and right now I am in “Out of Status”. On July 15 2013, SEVIS closed my account as “Graduated” and hence I couldn’t apply for OPT.
An officer in “Office of International Programs” advised me to secure an admission in a community college which could help me to be re-instated to F-1.
I have secured an admission in a Community College for fall 2013. But I was instructed not to register for courses now as I am now “Out of Status” and asked me to enroll in spring'14 before which I I would be receiving the result from USCIS.
My question, Is it possible to expedite the re-in statement (Form I-539) also I would like to find a job - H1B.
