Quitting h1b for vacation and change status back to h4?

I am working on h1 and planning to take vacation for family reasons. I also have un expired h4 visa stamping on my passport.
Since I won't be getting vacation for long time, I am planning to quit my job.
Can i travel back with h4 visa?
