Staring restaurant business as LLC on H1b

I am on h1b now and planning to start my own restaurant with partner who is also on h1b.
I heard hat we can register LLC without drawing any salary from the company and then continue working on the job with employer.

Does this apply for restaurant business as well?

Yes, it is posisble . But you cant work.. you can just be a passive share holder
