In progress change of H4 status and h1b extension

Question

I had to resign my job because of location constraints. Later I filed H4 change of status and waiting for my reciept.
My employer came back with an offer with my preference location I asked earlier.
My h1b is valid until 31st december, how do I approach?

1. What should I do if I file an H1b extension while on H4 status change in progress? can my employer file change of status from H4 to h1b later?

2. can h4 status be stopped where it is now?

Your employer should be able to file h1b for you. talk to them first.

You need to withdraw your h4 application
