Remove my H1b petition(COS)

Question

My L1b visa is approved through company1 and H1b approved through company2 which is effective from October 1st. I am planning to continue with company1 and asked company2 to revoke my H1b they filed and got approval, so they mailed USCIS regarding this request. We haven't got any confirmation yet.
Is it ok to schedule and talk to an immigration attorney through infopass to make sure that my H1b is withdrawn?

 

I may not be able to go out of US and re-enter to maintain my status.

I have 2 options , which one should I choose-

1. either talk to infopass lawyer

or

2. ask them to call USCIS and ask them the status of H1b revocation?

There should not be any problem with you leaving and re-entering US.

Only your employer can get that information, I don't think info pass should be able to help you. You can try calling USCIS customer care and check the status if you want.
