About revocation date for H1b

Question

My H1b from companyB is approved till 2015. I couldn't join companyB due to competition. I got offer from 3rd company and they are willing to sponsor my H1b.
My employment will be terminated on Aug 16 and the employerA is revoking my H1b visa. Though companyC is applying for LCA this week, and apply h1b after Aug 16, what are the chances for approval?
 

Wil lthe effective date be the same day as employerA revokes my H1b visa?
