changing employers after H1-B petition approval

I am working on OPT which I got through Student visa F1. My company is planning to sponsor my H1b next year.

So, between April - October, once I get my H1b approved, will I be allowed to switch employers?  I didn't want to switch companies actually. Please suggest.

Yes, legally you should be able to. However, ethically, other companies who may transfer your visa in future might lookyou in suspision.
