Getting H1b stamping before Visa expires

My H1b is valid until Oct 16, 2013. After applying for h1b extention i got approval and it is valid up to Oct 2016.
If I renew my visa in Canada, is it ok if I go to visa stamping before the visa exires? When is the earliest I can go if the answer is yes?

You can definitely go to Canada for stamping. Make sure you follow all the instructions on the counsulate's website.
