waiting for h1b extension reciept number not arrived and H1b almost expiring

Question

The date for h1b is not current and i140 was approved before. The reciept number hasnt arrrived yet and my stay is expiring soon.
If I don't recieve the reciept number, then will I be able to legally stay in US even after i94 is expired?

We know that the application is mailed and the shipment is delivered already to USCIS.

Do not worry , you are  in good condition. Your attorney might have got the email, but forgot to let you know may be. Check with them.
