H1b Visa process

Question

I travelled to USA through H4 before my employer applied for H1B decision was made and was under consular processing.

While I was in USA my H1B was approved and got my i797 copy.
So now, though I am authorized to work, I can't work for the previous company as they have closed down. Can I transfer h1b to another employer in this case?

What should the process be?

You will not be able to join Employer B since your visa and i797 was approved for employer A only.

The reason why you can't is - one application cannot qualify for the employer falling under that blanket.
