Hi,
I am currently working with Company A. and my current emplyer proceed for L1B and got stamped in Sep 2015, meanwhile my applied H1B pitition also for picked and approved before stamping of my L1B
Now I am in US with L1B visa and working for current compnat A. Now I got new project through my employer who sponsored me H1B.
All the paperwork done to start to work on the new project.
Now my employer saying me to go to INDIA and get it H1B stamped due to new Amendment rule.
Could you please really need to go to INDIA for stamping or is there any process to change the status from L1B to H1B.
I heard from some of my friends.
For change of status need to exit country and reenter with new visa or apply for new H1B pitition again with same employer or otherwise transfer H1B to some other employer.
Could you please help on this how can I proceed and advise on the same.
