Reapplying H1B after it was cancelled with no prejudice

I got my H1b stamped till Sept 30th 2013 through a company. I quit the company, so they have canelled with status as "Cancelled with no prejudice".
Can I request any other employer to apply for a fresh H1b since transfer is no longer possible now?

Yes, the company cannot cancel your Visa. Only Government can cencel it.
