Can I relocate and work on EAD or do I need to wait until GC arrives?

My husband is a US Citizen working for Army. I am on H1b through an employer in Texas and trying for a job change in Tennesse. Filed I-130 and I-285.
Is it possible to move and work in the same place as my husband if I apply for U-765 and get an EAD? Can I work until then or should I sit at home?

Not necessarily. You can file  EAD and relocate//change employer because you are married to a US Citizen. There won't be any status violations.
