will photocopy of I797 from previous employer work for visa stamping?

Hi,

I am going to India fro h1b visa stamping. I have original i797 from my current employer. However, i do not have a original i797 from my previous employer. I just have a photocopy of my previous i797. Will photocopy work? Please advise. Thanks!

A photocopy of the old employer I797 should be fine. But you need the original for the new employer.
