I had signed a contract with an employer A for 3 years who sponsored my visa last year. Employer A also has some clause which states that I have to pay them a certain amount of money if I leave their company before the end of 3 year term. I am not sure if that contract is legally binding or not, but what if I want to move to an employer B who's offering me better benefits? Can the employer A contest the contract in court or pull me into a legal battle? Please advice.
