Question Regarding I-94, do I need to take any action now?

H1 (I-797)

Re-entered USA b4 Oct 1st and got new I-94
I-94        5678XYZ        

Now applied for H1 extension (I-797)
I-94         1234ABC

So at present I do have two I-94 one with the passport which i recieved at the time of POE and another one with the H1 extension (I797) which is the old I-94.

Do i need to take any action ? And do i need to handover both the I-94 at the time of departure
