I have almost used 3 years of my H1B but now I want to take a break & go to grad school for a couple of years. Can I resume my old H1B once I graduate or do I need to apply for fresh H1B?
I realize that applying for a new H1B will give me whole 6 more years but with the H1B cap if in case I don't get through the lottery can I still switch back to my old H1B that would have 3 more years remaining?
