Hello

My curernt H1B on my passport is expired and belongs to my previous employer. I switched job around 2 year back, and my current employer got my visa transferred. I got the new I797 which is Valid till May 2015.

I have not travelled outside of the country since.

I have to travel to India in Dec, and as my Visa on passport is expired I will need to go for stamping.

What I want to know is, as there is less than 6 months left (in december when I will go for stamping) will this cause any problems at consulate. I am awaiting my I140 and my employer will file for extension when I come back in Jan after my I140 is approved.

Thanks
