Hello, I am on H-1B, and am wondering, if my employment ends and I do not intend to live or work in the US anymore, but return to my home country, do I have to leave the country immediately?
If I wanted to stay in the US for a 1-2 months holiday before I go back finally, what are my options? Is that possible at all? E.g. can I switch to a tourist visa without leaving the country?
