I have 8 years of experience in Mainframe cics system programming and am planning to apply H1B next year.

I have 8 years of Mainframes cics system programmer and have knowledge in mainframe applications and Mq series as well. I am planning to apply H1 B next year. Do i need to change my skill or are there any scope for mainframe system programmers for H1B's in US, Please advise.

You don`t have to change your skillset.

Ok, But i dont see any much prospects for Mainframes on H1B.
