H1 to H4 and then again H4 to H1

Question

I have H1B visa, i want to check if i can take maternity leave before delivery continuing after delivery with total 6 months of leave on H1B visa or change status to H4 is good idea for this period of time(6 months).

some companies provide you work from hoem if your comfortable .. if not i dont think that most of the companies give leave for that long. Its upto you if u want to change your status. but also think twice because now a day getting h1 picked in this heavy competetion of lottery is so tough
