Question about getting H1b approval

My H1B COS with I-94 was filed on 4th April 2013, I went outside US in May and returned in June 2013 with L1 status. Does this void the H1 COS filed ? Will the H1B be approved, it is currently showing RFE.

You abandoned your H-1B change of status application when you left the US in April. However, if you reply to the RFE and ultimately get your petition approved, you can apply for an H-1B visa outside of the United States.
