Will I be able to stay on F1 visa after getting approval from H1b?

H1b is approved for me, however, my OPT stem extension is still active for 1.5 more years.
WIll i be able to stay on OPT if I dont want to move to H1b?

Well, I am afraid, you cannot do that. You can have just one status at a time.
Moreover, it is good to be on H1b then continue with OPT. Also once the H1b status your employer can file your GC as well.
