I've been asked to teach a continuing education class at a public university. I am Canadian, and here on an H1B. I obviously can't take money for it, but can I even teach it as a volunteer?
One idea that came to mind was them making a charitable donation in lieu of paying me, but I'd also be happy to just teach for free.
