H1 B visa extension

Hi, Am plannin to go to india for my H1 B visa extension this october end. My visa expires in april 2014. Does this government shutdown issue have any impact on my visa extension? Are there any chances for rejection of my visa? I work for US private sector organization. Please give me your suggestions

Are you going for stamping? If so, it doesn`t hurt your chances for getting your visa. It will affect only the LCA processing for new h1b and transfers. All the best!
