Assuming the H-1B petition filed on your behalf gets ultimately approved, if come October 1 you are not here but in Hindustan, you'll need a consular H-1B visa "stamp" to be readmitted, unless, of course, you still have a valid L-1B visa stamp on your passport and intend to reenter in September.
