Client location changed for h1b, no amendment filed yet

Question

My h1b is valid from Oct 1, 2013 and I am currently on OPT. My employer filed LCA  for new client location. They are saying amendment is not needed, however after deep discussion they agreed to file amendment.
Will this create problem if employer files for amendment after h1b starts?
also, should i leave US for visa stamping?
