About h1b petition ending validity date

I have an approved h1b already.
Here are the details of the same -
Receipt Number: EAC1313253099
Petitioner: XXXXXXX
Beneficiary: AAAADDDDGGGG
DOB: 03/07/82
Classification: H1B
Starting Validity Date: 10/01/13
Ending Validity Date: 09/30/14

Can I enter US before September 30th 2014, or is it decided by the date of visa which is going to be stamped in US embessay?
What happens if I enter before Sept 30th?

You can only work until September 30, 2014. It is still not very clear whether you can extend the H1b.

That will depend upon your employer.
