H1B Employee Liquidity Damage Clause

I have recently moved to the United States on H1B Visa. My employer is really trying to force me to liquidity damage clause agreement if i voluntarily resign before a certain number of years. Does this type of liquidity damage clause agreement enforceable with an employee with an H1B from Texas? I didn't sign the agreement yet but any advice would be appreciated.

You should really talk to a labor lawyer because this isn't an immigration question. With that answer, I have heard that it can be enforced.
