My H1 is valid until the end of 2014. I worked for Company A in the United States for 1 year and they sponsored my H1 and then I went back to my home country. Currently Company B is filing for an H1B petition on my behalf. Can Company A's H1 stamp be used along with Company B's H1B petition in order for me to travel back into the United States and work for Company B there?Or must I go to the Consulate for my H1B visa to be stamped by Company B? Will I receive and I-94 when I come back on my sponsored visa or will I get an I-94 for the company that I will work for?

It would be best to ask Company B's immigration attorney in this situation. Their job is to help you and talk with you. They will know the details of your case. Generally, you can use the stamp as long as the new petition was filed and approved.
