Is H1b transfer possible without payslips?

Question

I am on L1b and filed for COS h1b with another employerb and got approved with new I-94 staring from Oct 1st 2014.
Now that i have resigned employerA, employerA is trying to retain me and trying to transfer H1b which they are planning to transfer in next couple of weeks.

Do I need pay slips from EmployerB for applying H1b transfer from companyA?
