Joining a new company based on h1b transfer reciept and getting RFE on transfer

Question

What other options do I have when my H1b transfer gets rejected?
1. My spouse has valid H1b, Is it possible to change the status if I got rejected before?
2. After companyB rejected my h1b, can companyC file for my H1b transfer
3. companyB is currently pending decision for h1b transfer, so is it ok to initiate h1b transfer with companyC?

Is there any risk that I am out of status once h1b transfer to companyB is rejected?

1. Yes, it is good to do this NOW. Later you can always ignore or withdraw the COS  when h1b is approved
2. Yes, you can when your COS to H4 is in progress
3. EmployerC can do this.
