H1b status change and RFE

Question

I have filed status change from H4 to H1B though employer1. But I have got an RFE and employer1 may not respond within 9 days.
Employer2 is read to start h1b transfer and they are unaware of RFE.
Should I inform employer2 about my RFE
Will I maintain the status if employer2 files h1b transfer before just before RFE expires?

It is not ethical to hide about your RFE from employer2.

Looks like employer2 is unable to file the petition unless employer1 withdraws it or until the petition is decided.
